This stock pot is as advertised – - a good stainless steel pot for a low price. It’s pretty thin-walled but not to the point of being flimsy.
I just received this pot. I was surprised by how light weight it is. For the price, it is fine but I wouldn’t recommend buying it as it is flimsy. Mine was even dirty on the inside. There is a big sticker on the outside that does not come off. It is really a piece of junk. I think it will suit my needs, hopefully it’s good enough to boil water in. Wouldn’t be surprised if it doesn’t even hold up for that purpose. I have gotten much better pots at TJ Max for similar price, unfortunately they are not quite as large as this one. I need 12+ quart.
I got exactly what I expected: a thin pot that looks like it will hold up to light use. I’ve used it a couple times so far and it hasn’t collapsed yet, so no complaints.
I wanted to buy a large 16quart or larger pot to start home brewing beer. Upon arrival, at first glance I noticed the item wasn’t packaged well, hardly any padding and not even taped well. When I opened the package I found that my pot was dented with tire marks in it and it was in poor condition and more dirty than it should be. I’m returning it and investing in a better quality item that won’t have the tendency to dent upon arrival. I guess you get what you pay for!
I bought this pot with to use as a brew kettle. The pot does not hold as much as advertised and once the level of liquid goes above the handle bolts the liquid leaks from the bolts. I had to adjust my recipe to use this without leaking. I recommend spending some more money on a higher quality pot.
